Can Newborn Babies See?

Newborns can see? see newborns at birth. They can not see very clearly, but they can see. Their vision is about 20/200, allowing them to see the contours of high contrast such as light and dark, black and white. They see clearly the most, ironically, a mother's breast to her eyes, about 12 inches. This helps the child bond with their mothers and other caregivers. Babies are attracted to human faces, things are very black and white design. They can not see colors until about four months.
