Originally I thought all gumpaste would be in order and he could have kept it I suppose, but I decided to go all edible instead. I don't use crisp cereal treats often in my cakes, but occasionally a job calls for it. The birdhouse sits on a cookie platform, the rail and train crossing posts are gumpaste, the rest is painted fondant on the cereal house. It was fun, and relatively quick.
