Preparing baby rice cereal at home?

Question by MCM: Preparing baby rice cereal at home?
I tried to prepare rice cereal for my baby at home using brown rice flour i purchased from the store. I followed all the instructions. But the cereal turned out to be bitter (had a bitter after taste) All the websites mention that i should grind rice at home. Is there any difference between using rice flour or grinding at home? What am i doing wrong?
